THE CORNFIELD CLASH WAS HELD AT THE SIEBEL CENTER FOR DESIGN, HOSTED BY ILLINI VEX ROBOTICS.

VEX IS A COMPANY THAT CREATES COMPETITIVE GAMES IN WHICH STUDENT DESIGNED ROBOTS COMPETE.

TEN TEAMS FROM SIX DIFFERENT SCHOOLS COMPETED IN 45 MATCHES AND THEN AN ELIMINATION BRACKET. 

THE WINNING TEAM EARNED AN INVITATION TO THE VEX WORLD
CHAMPIONSHIPS.

THE CORNFIELD CLASH WAS THE FIRST EVER VEX ROBOTICS EVENT TO BE
HOSTED ON THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS CAMPUS.

A TEAM FROM PURDUE UNIVERSITY WON.

THE ILLINI VEX ROBOTICS TEAM MADE IT TO THE SEMIFINALS AND QUALIFIED FOR WORLDS. THEY WILL COMPETE IN DALLAS, TEXAS IN LATE APRIL.
